Police have issued a warning of the potential harm from taking prescription drugs when they are not prescribed after a store break-in.

Several boxes of diazepam tablets were stolen from a shop in Clifton Road, Lowestoft, at 2.30am today.

Suffolk police are asking anyone who finds the medication to hand it in immediately to Lowestoft Police Station.

Anyone with information about the incident should call PC Christopher Pallett on 101 quoting reference LO/14/5658, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
