FIREFIGHTERS tackles a blaze which engulfed two acres of stubble field in flames.
Crews were called to a fire near the B1071 at Washmere Green, near Lavenham, at 2.45pm.
After tackling the flames, a crew remained on scene for around an hour to prevent re-ignition.
A spokesman for the brigade said the fire was believed to be deliberate and Suffolk police had been informed.
