MOTORISTS travelling into the centre of Ipswich faced huge delays this morning as firefighters tackled a blaze on the town's waterfront.The fire broke out in a grain silo at the site being redeveloped in College Street, but as crews fought the blaze it forced the closure of the road - leading to long tailbacks.

The fire broke out in a grain silo at the site being redeveloped in College Street, but as crews fought the blaze it forced the closure of the road - leading to long tailbacks.
Drivers heading into the town from the east faced hour-long journeys as the likes of Felixstowe Road, Foxhall Road and Spring Road came to a standstill.
