Waveney: Update on district council control due on Thursday morning

WAVENEY District Council leader Mark Bee will give a briefing tomorrow morning on the latest developments at the authority.

The council is no under overall control after last week’s elections, with the Conservatives and Labour both winning 23 seats.

The remaining two seats on the council are taken by Independent Peter Collecott and Green Graham Elliott.

A spokesman for the council said Mr Bee, who has been elected as leader of the county council, would be updating the media on the “current situation and the latest developments” at the Town Hall in Lowestoft this morning.
