A COLD day after a frosty start with some mist or fog patches and areas of low cloud.
Cloud will thicken through the day bringing outbreaks of rain in from the west through the afternoon and early evening.
After last night’s freezing temperatures of -5c, there will a maximum of +6c this afternoon.
Tonight any rain will soon clear and then it will be mostly dry with some clear spells developing although there may be the odd light shower later.
