Parks in Ipswich have closed early today over fears of injury caused by the high winds.
Many parks and open spaces don’t have lockable entrances and the council has advised people to take extra care in those areas because of the possibility of trees being damaged.
Ipswich Borough Council also closed the town’s cemeteries at 2.30pm because of the winds.
