AFTER around five inches of snow coated parts of Suffolk, freezing temperatures will struggle to creep above zero today.
Forecasters said they expect fewer scattered snow showers with dry spells this afternoon.
But the widespread snowfall yesterday has resulted in dangerous icy conditions this morning.
Weather experts at Weather Quest in Norwich said freezing fog may linger in parts of the county with the risk of heavier wintry showers overnight.
Tomorrow is expected to be cloudy with some bright spells and it will remain very cold all weekend.
Wintry rain, sleet or snow showers may fall as icy conditions persist but the more extreme weather should by then have passed.
