Up to 15mm of rain could hit parts of Suffolk today, with the chance of further isolated thunder storms.

The Met Office has released a yellow warning for rain for Suffolk and Essex, which is due to remain in place until 8pm.

Weatherquest forecaster Adam Drury said that those living in the west of the county were most at risk of isolated thunderstorms, with a band of heavy rain currently moving over London and Essex.

He added that those who did experience stormy conditions could expect up to 15mm of rain to fall today.

Temperatures could reach up to 11/12 degrees Celsius today (51.8/53.6 degrees Fahrenheit) today, before dropping highs of 8 degrees Celsius (46.4 degrees Fahrenheit) tomorrow following a dry start and some light rain expected throughout the day.

On Sunday is expected to bring drier and brighter weather, with temperatures reaching back up to highs of 11 degrees Celsius (51.8 Fahrenheit).
