A DRIVER was left trapped in her vehicle following a crash near Clacton this morning.
The accident happened at about 8.25am in Thorpe Road, Weeley and crews from Weeley and Clacton fire stations were sent to the scene.
Specialist cutting equipment was used to help release the woman, who was trapped in her car for more than half an hour.
The extent of her injuries are not yet known and she was left in the care of ambulance paramedics.
