West Mersea: Man steals four PDAs worth £8,000 from a Tesco Express

A MAN has stolen four PDAs worth £8,000 from a supermarket in north-east Essex.

The burglar walked into Tesco Express on Barfield Road, West Mersea and stole the electronic devices shortly before 2:30pm on Saturday, March 16.

The thief is described as white, aged in his late teens or early 20s and is approximately 5ft 9ins tall.

Investigating officer, Pc Keith Sargeant, said: “As well as trying to identify this person, we would be keen to hear from anyone who may have been offered these PDAs for sale in unusual circumstances.”
