Five people aboard a motor cruiser were rescued by lifeboat crew in Essex yesterday.
West Mersea RNLI’s inshore lifeboat responded to calls for assistance from the 23ft vessel at around 6pm.
The crew towed it to Bradwell Marina after the cruiser suffered engine failure in the River Blackwater.
