Cyclists raised money for three good causes after climbing into the saddle for a charity ride last month.
The event, which was organised by estate agents David Burr, took place on Sunday, September 30, with cyclists tackling either a 25-mile or 50-mile route.
The ride raised funds for St Nicholas Hospice Care, Henry’s Holiday Help and the National Autistic Society.
Hayley Lambert, from David Burr, visited St Nicholas Hospice Care last week to hand over £1,270 to the charity.
Emma Clements, the hospice’s major events fundraiser, said: “We are so grateful to David Burr for organising the event and of course everyone who took part on the day.
“As a local charity we rely on the generosity of our local community and businesses and the funds raised by this event will help us continue to fund the care the people we support need.
“Thank you to everyone who helped make the ride such a success.”
David Burr hopes the ride, which followed a rather hilly route around the rolling countryside around Hawkedon, could become an annual event.
