CREWS have been called to three separate undergrowth fires this evening in west Suffolk.
One crew from Mildenhall was sent out at 10.30pm to St Mary’s Close, Mildenhall, after a small amount of rubbish set fire to undergrowth there.
The crew used water buckets to quell the flames.
At 9.45pm, a crew was dispatched to an undergrowth blaze in Selwyn Close, Mildenhall where they found a small area on fire and used a water hose to put out the flames.
And shortly before 8pm two units from Newmarket were sent out to put out a bonfire in undergrowth next to the tennis club in Cotton End Road, Exning, near Newmarket
