A WHEELCHAIR-user had to be freed from a van after it ended up in a field.
Only one car was involved in the accident which happened on the road between Kentford and Gazeley at 12.45pm today.
A police spokeswoman said a man in his 50s who used a wheelchair was stuck in his Mercedes Sprinter vehicle until Suffolk Fire Service arrived to free him.
The man, who is from the local area, was freed and taken home at 1.30pm and a vehicle recovery team will be dispatched to collect the van.
The man was not injured in the incident.
