FIREFIGHTERS have put out a car fire near Ipswich.
The vehicle was reported to be alight at just before 5pm this evening along The Strand, Wherstead.
One fire crew from Princes Street, Ipswich, was sent to the scene and firefighters used breathing equipment and a hose reel jet to tackle the blaze, which was out within 20 minutes.
Nobody was reported to have been injured.
