Nominations are now open for the annual prize.
The cup as well as a cash prize of £50 is presented by Woodbridge Town Council to recognise a person or organisation that has made an outstanding contribution to the life or name of the town in the past year.
Last year’s Potter Cup winners were the New Horizons club.
The group, which supports older people living in Woodbridge, was saved by the community after its closure was announced by Age UK Suffolk in 2015.
Other previous winners of the award include the 432 Woodbridge Air Force Cadets and the Woodbridge Town Pastors.
Submissions for the 2018 award, along with supporting information about the nominee should be sent by letter to Mrs C. Walker, Woodbridge Town Council or by email to townclerk@woodbridge-suffolk.gov.uk
Nominations for award close on January 31.
