FIREFIGHTERS were called to an estate on Wickhambrook near Haverhill to a bedroom blaze.
A crew from Bury St Edmunds went to the Badmondisfield Estate, Ousden Road, after an automatic fire alarm went off at about 11pm last night.
On arrival firefighters found a small fire in a bedroom.
The fire was put out and officers using breathing apparatus and a thermal imaging camera checked the property for hot spots. The stop message was received at 11.30pm and crews had returned to the fire station by 12.11am.
There were no reports of any injuries.
