Neighbours are getting into the festive spirit by lighting up their windows for an advent display.
Residents of Double Street, in Framlingham, are unveiling an illuminated window each day in the lead up to Christmas.
The eye-catching nativity countdown began life in 2014 and is this year raising money for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) and Save the Children. A collection box has been put outside number 40.
One of the organisers, Gill Knights said some 26 homes are involved this year, and that there are plans to keep the windows illuminated until the new year.
The Fabulous Framlingham Christmas Festival begins with the Christmas lights switch-on and late-night shopping from 6pm-9pm on Friday. St Michael’s Church Christmas Tree Festival is on Saturday, followed by the Town Council Charity Market on Sunday.
