Winds reaching up to 60mph will batter the East Anglia today, the Met Office has warned.
This follows reports from Suffolk Police trees have fallen all over the county overnight due to the stormy weather.
The sky will be overcast throughout the day and persistent rain and drizzle is expected to start this afternoon and carry on throughout the evening.
The temperature will be mild, reaching a maximum of 13 �C.
