IPSWICH Witches Premier Challenge Trophy clash at Sheffield tonight has been postponed.
Rain has been falling in the Sheffield area today and with more forecast, the decision was made to stop the Ipswich riders from travelling.
It will give the Witches an extra day’s preparation for their massive clash with Edinburgh in the KO Cup semi-final, second leg tomorrow night, where Ipswich hold a 20-pt lead from the first leg.
Friday’s teams: Edinburgh: Craig Cook, Derek Sneddon, Theo Pijper, Matthew Wethers, Andrew Tully, Jozsef Tabaka, James Sarjeant.
Ipswich: Leigh Lanham, Morten Risager, Taylor Poole, rider replacement for Dakota North, Rohan Tungate, Matt Tresarrieu, Stefan Nielsen.
