Police are seeking witnesses following a crash near Braintree.
The incident happened in heavy traffic on the A131 near Marks Farm roundabout at about 4.20pm on Friday between a silver Chevrolet Matiz and a red Yamaha 600 motorbike.
Both the driver and motorcyclist sustained minor injuries.
Any witnesses who have not yet contacted police or anyone with information about events leading to the collision should contact Pc Dave Scott at Stanway Road Policing Unit on 101.
