POLICE are appealing for help to catch those responsible to attacking a woman in Stowmarket town centre.
The incident happened outside the launderette in Ipswich Street and the victim, who has not been named, suffered facial injuries and bruising.
Officers particularly want to speak to a man and a woman aged about 50 who came to the aid of the lady after the attack, which happened sometime between 11pm on Thursday and 12am on Friday .
Police are also appealing for witnesses and anyone with any information to contact Pc William Ormsby at Stowmarket Police Station on 01473 613500, or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
