A 39-YEAR-OLD woman has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a one-tonne pallet fell on top of her.
A 39-YEAR-OLD woman has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a one-tonne pallet fell on top of her.
The incident happened outside Chase Resources in Bentwaters Business Park, Rendlesham, at about 10.30am today as it is believed the woman was helping to unload some pallets.
Firefighters from Woodbridge and a rescue tender from Princes Street attended the scene and released the trapped woman from underneath the pallet.
An air ambulance was called and transported her to Ipswich Hospital with pelvic and leg injuries.
