POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a serious road accident in Elmswell today.
POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a serious road accident in Elmswell today.
The accident happened at shortly after 1am when two bicycles collided on Kiln Lane.
A woman in her 40s was taken to the West Suffolk Hospital with serious head injuries which are considered potentially life-threatening.
Kiln Lane and Warren Lane remain closed this morning as investigations into the collision continue.
Police want to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision, particularly a number of other cyclists seen in the area at the time.
