A 50-year-old woman was taken to hospital with facial injuries today following an alleged domestic assault in Felixstowe.
Police and ambulance were called to the incident, which took place in Beacon Field just after 2am.
Earlier, paramedics helped a 47-year-old man in London Road, Ipswich, who claimed to have been attacked.
The man was treated at the scene for minor injuries shortly after midnight and went home.
