A WOMAN has been injured in a crash on a village road during morning rush hour.
Police were called to the scene of the single vehicle accident at Stow Lane in Pakenham, near Bury St Edmunds, at 7.58am today and involved a silver Nissan car.
The road is currently closed and police have asked the highways authority to send a gritting lorry.
The extent of the woman's injuries is currently unknown, though it is believed she reported feeling pain in her arms. And ambulance has been sent.
