A WOMAN was taken to hospital with potentially serious head injuries tonight after a road crash in East Bergholt.
Emergency services were called to Gandish Road at 7.55pm following reports of a two-car collision. The female driver of a Peugeot 206 was freed from the vehicle by firefighters and was said to be suffering from head injuries that police described as “potentially serious”.
Two people were released from the other car involved in the crash, a Ford Focus. Three people in the car suffered minor injuries. Three fire crews attended the incident and released the trapped people by 9.10pm.
