A woman in her 90s is fighting for her life in hospital following a collision involving a car in north-east Essex.
The female pedestrian, whose details have not been released, was involved in a collision with a blue Ford Fiesta at the junction between School Road and the A133 in Elmstead Market at around 3.30pm yesterday, Essex Police said.
The woman suffered serious injuries which are thought to be life-threatening, an East of England Ambulance Service spokesman said.
The woman was taken to Colchester General Hospital.
No arrests have been made
