A woman is reported to be suffering head and chest pains after the car she was in collided with a van in Suffolk this afternoon.

Suffolk police received reports of an accident in Combs Lane, near to the junction with the B1115, west of Stowmarket.

A force spokesman said the collision, which was reported at around 12.20pm, involved a van and a car.

The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust has been called to treat the woman in the car.

There are no reports of road closures or any other injuries.
