A WOMAN has been taken to hospital after her car was involved in a collision with a coach.
The woman was travelling in a green Renault Clio when it was involved in the accident with the coach on the A11 at Elveden, near Thetford.
The accident took place this morning at about 9.50am and emergency services were sent to the scene.
Fire crews used specialist cutting equipment to cut the roof off the Clio and the woman was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital by ambulance for treatment to back and neck injuries.
An East of England Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the woman had not suffered any life-threatening injuries.
The road was temporarily blocked in both directions but the accident was cleared by about 11.30 and traffic has returned to normal.
