Woman killed and two seriously injured in crash

A WOMAN has been killed and another seriously injured in a two car smash.

Lynda Evans, 48, of Pershore Road, Hardwick, near Diss, suffered fatal injuries when her black Toyota collided with a blue Citroen.

The collision happened on the eastbound carriageway of the A428 near Dry Drayton, Cambridge, shortly before 7pm on Thursday evening.

The 58-year-old Citroen driver, from Ipswich, and her 22-year-old female passenger suffered serious injuries in the collision.

They were both taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge.
