A POST mortem is due to take place today on a woman's body found by the side of a road in Cambridgeshire yesterday.
The A1301 was closed both ways between the A505 junction and the M11 junction in Hinxton, near Duxford, following the discovery by a lorry driver at 3.30am yesterday.
The body, which was found about half a mile from the A11, is yet to be identified.
A police spokeswoman said a post mortem will be carried out today by home office pathologist Dr Nat Carey after the body was moved to Addenbrooke's Hospital.
Police officers conducting a search of the area the body was found.
