A woman was airlifted to hospital with a serious pelvis injury after a motorcycle crash on in Wix yesterday.
Emergency services were called to the A120 at Wix shortly after 10.30am yesterday to reports of a crash which had involved a motorcycle.
A rapid response vehicle and ambulance crew from the East of England Ambulance Service were joined by the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance to treat a woman.
A spokesman from the ambulance service trust said that they treated a woman at the scene who had suffered a serious pelvis injury, before she was airlifted to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridgeshire for further care.
