Woman who died after Woodbridge collision named as Joy Poppy

An 82-year-old woman from Leiston who died following a crash in New Street, Woodbridge, has been named by police.

Joy Poppy was involved in a collision with a silver Ford Fusion in New Street just after 2pm on Wednesday.

Police attended and she was taken to Ipswich Hospital, but later died from her injuries.

Any witnesses to the collision are asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Team on 101 quoting reference CAD 253 of 1/7.
