A 10-year-old boy in Woodbridge was approached by a man who offered him a lift in his car, police have said.
The youngster was approached after he left a shop in Old Barrack Road shortly before 10am on Saturday.
A man in a car asked him where he was going and told him to get in the car as he would take him there. The boy then ran away.
The man is described as black, in his 40s and had rotten teeth. He was wearing a black beanie hat, black sunglasses, a black top and was driving a light blue old-style Ford Focus.
