FIRE crews ripped the panelling from a 30ft yacht as they battled a cabin fire.
A 56-year-old man who was on board when the fire started at 2am today suffered the effects of smoke inhalation and was treated at the scene by paramedics.
Meanwhile, firefighters broke up the panelling of the vessel, moored at Tidemill Yacht Harbour, in Woodbridge.
The fire was contained within the cabin and was extinguished by 3am.
The injured man declined hospital treatment.
