A dog rescue organisation has thanked the public for donating funds to help it through its busiest period.

Pampered Pets raised £113.25 during its Canine Welfare Rescue Centre street collection, complete with dressed-up dogs, pictured, in Woodbridge on Sunday, which will help it care for its charges.

A spokesman said: “We had a wonderful day and so did the two dogs we brought along.”

The rescue centre is currently inundated with dogs it is looking to house.
