Police are investigating after an incident in Woodbridge
AN 18-year-old woman is reported to have been threatened by a man who approached her from behind and put his hand over her mouth.
The incident happened between 5pm and 5.15pm on Tuesday in Theatre Street, Woodbridge.
Suffolk police are investigating and a spokeswoman said the victim was approached from behind by a man who grabbed her around the waist; put his hand over her mouth and made threats towards a member of her family. He then let go and the woman ran off.
The offender wore a hooded jacket with the hood up, the spokeswoman added.
She urged anyone with information to call Sgt David Daly at Suffolk police on 101 or Crimsetoppers on 0800 555111.
