The former professional actor appointed new headteacher at a top Suffolk independent school has said he “can’t wait to be part of the Woodbridge family”.
Richard Robson, who will replace Neil Tetley from September 2018, has been revered by school chiefs as a “multi-talented and ambitious leader”.
The father of two is moving on from his previous role as headmaster of St Bede’s College in Manchester.
He said: “Woodbridge is a wonderful school with incredibly committed staff, delightful children and a very supportive parental and governing body.
“The school is clearly academically rigorous but also places an equal importance on crucial skills and attributes beyond the classroom – essential to the 21st century workplace. This unique educational balance, coupled with the warm and productive environment, truly sets it apart. We can’t wait to become part of the Woodbridge family.”
