Woodbridge School students have celebrated the best GCSE results in the school’s history – including some exceptional individual achievements.
James Phelan and Ella Holiday were among six high achieving students who secured 10 or more A* grades.
James achieved 11 A* grades and will be continuing his studies at Woodbridge School’s sixth form, where he will be taking English, history and Latin A levels.
He said: “I’m relieved and very pleased with my results.
“After I leave Woodbridge School, I’m aiming to study history or classics at Cambridge University.”
Ella said she was thrilled with her 12 A* grades. She will also continue with her studies at Woodbridge School with English, Spanish, French and maths A-levels. She hopes to study languages at Cambridge University.
Overall, 95% of the 86 GCSE students at Woodbridge School achieved at least a grade C in English and maths, making it the best ever set of results for the school. A third of all grades were awarded at A*.
