A Suffolk landmark celebrated a record year with friends at an end of season party.

The team from Woodbridge’s Tide Mill marked the occasion at another local landmark – the Shire Hall, on Market Hill.

Patron Lord Framlingham and Lady Framlingham joined more than 60 volunteers and Friends of The Tide Mill to discuss the season and hear Nigel Barratt, chairman of the Tide Mill Trust, summarise achievements in 2014.

Mr Barratt reported increased visitors and revenue from entrance fees, shop and flour sales, and improved local promotion. He praised the close knit and capable team that has taken on the maintenance of milling machinery, welcomed new volunteers and repeated the need for more volunteers to fill the many roles available.
