A Woolpit man will be sentenced next month after admitting having a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
Before Ipswich Crown Court today, Monday, September 17, for a plea and trial preparation hearing was Paul Lambert, 37, of Mill Lane, Woolpit, who pleaded guilty to possessing a 12 bore shotgun with intent to cause fear of violence on July 19 this year.
Adjourning sentence for the preparation of a pre-sentence report by the probation service, Judge John Devaux told Lambert, who has no previous convictions: “In adjourning for a report and renewing bail I’m not giving any indication what the sentence I or another judge are going to pass in this case.”
The case was adjourned until the week commencing October 15.
