Workers held up in pub robbery

TWO workers were locked in a room while robbers stole cash from a pub in Lowestoft on Sunday night.

TWO workers were locked in a room while robbers stole cash from a pub in Lowestoft on Sunday night.

Two men wearing balaclavas entered the pub in Dove Street at about 11.30pm, threatened the two members of staff and forced them to open the safe.

The workers were then locked in a room while the offenders stole cash. The staff were uninjured, but were left shaken by the incident.
