Firefighters tackled a blaze which saw a chimney engulfed in flames.
Crews were called to Lowestoft Road, in Worlingham, at 7.30pm after a chimney was reported to be well alight.
On arrival they used a hose reel jet and a stirrup pump to bring the incident under control and a thermal imaging camera to ensure that there were no further hot spots.
A spokesman for the fire service said the blaze was under control by 8.50pm.
