Police are appealing for witnesses following an unusual theft in a rural community.
A charity supporter set up a stall selling eggs, quiches and pasties outside her home in Church Road, Wrabness on Sunday.
However, thieves raided the stand at some point between 8.45am and 2.50pm, stealing the food and a cash box containing 30 which had been given in donations to charity.
Anyone with information is asked to call police at Clacton on 0300 333 4444.
