JOURNEY South have announced they are heading to Suffolk as part of their latest tour.

The 2005 X-Factor runners-up are set to play at the Marina Theatre in Lowestoft on May 30 for a tour announced on the back of their second album, Home.

Brother's Andy and Carl Pemberton saw their debut self-titled album enter the charts at the top spot, going on to sell 500,000 copies in the UK.

The band left Simon Cowell's record label in August to establish their own, ANCA Records and released the second single of their latest album, Reconcile Our Love, in February, which gave the duo their first top 10 single.

The visit to Lowestoft is part of 43 dates announced for the Home Tour 2008, which will see them perform a cover of Take That classic Never Forget with groups of local school children or choirs.

The band have also pledged to donate all the proceeds from their single What I Love About Home to children's charity Barnardo's.

Tickets for the Lowestoft leg of the tour are available by calling 01502 533 200 or by visiting www.marinatheatre.co.uk.

Any schools or choirs interested in rehearsing and playing with the band are asked to email Denise@upsideuk.com or Hannah@upsideuk.com
