Young woman dies after two vehicle crash in Friston

A woman aged in her 20s has died after a crash in Friston last night.
Police were alerted at 7.28pm to reports of a collision involving a Fiat Panda and a Toyota Hilux in Saxmundham Road.
Fire, ambulance and police crews attended the scene and the driver of the Fiat was taken to Heath Road Hospital where she died a short while later.
A Suffolk Constabulary spokesman said one of the vehicles was parked when the collision happened.
The road remains closed in both directions while a collision investigation takes place and recovery is arranged for the vehicles.
Witnesses are asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Team on 101 quoting CAD 412 of 10/3.
