HONG Kong businessman Balram Chainrai has become Portsmouth's fourth different owner of the season.

Chainrai has bought 90 per cent of the club's shares from previous owner Ali Al Faraj but is believed not to be interested in remaining as the owner at Fratton Park in the long term.

Chainrai, who lent the Pompey board between 15m and 20m earlier this season, has reportedly invoked a clause in the loan contract he struck with Al Faraj this year giving him the right to take over should they default on payments to him.
