PETERBOROUGH United chairman Darragh MacAnthony has made a furious attack on his basement side.
Clearly infuriated with the team's inability to string a decent season together after promotion last season, MacAnthony said on the club's official website.
“I have to apologise to all Posh fans for this season up until now. It's been nothing short of a disaster and I can understand their frustrations.
“I am done with defending the players, previous management, current management and everyone else at the football club top to bottom.
“Nobody has been good enough this season - we have failed our fans in the worst possible way.”
