Ipswich Town will begin the 2016/17 Championship season on Saturday, August 6, with fixtures set to be released on June 22.
Having missed out on the play-offs this season, the Blues are set for a 15th-straight season of second tier football, and will find out their schedule in the middle of June.
After the newly-branded Sky Bet EFL (English Football League) kicks-off on August 6, the first round of the League Cup will be played the following midweek.
Over the Christmas period there will be games held on Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve, and on Monday 2nd January 2017, with the final day of the Championship season coming on Saturday, May 6.
The Championship play-off final is scheduled for Monday, May 29.
